Jolene Spellman was a third-year graduate student at The University of San Francisco.

Interested in Neuropsychology, I was proud to be her mentor. In her bio, she stated that Dr. Madore has nurtured her goal to join the field. Her hobbies were scuba diving, trying new foods, and taking care of her two toy poodles. A New Yorker transplanted into California, she was an amazingly kind individual who I miss. Although she will never get the opportunity to be a neuropsychologist and represent women of color, her energy lives on in the lab and in the lives of those of us who knew her. May she rest in power and peace.
